SUKKOT

SUKKOT 2018 at BLACK RIVER CENTER for LEARNING

The Fall Feasts of Adonai are completed for another year.  Praise Him for the instructions He gives us, as they truly are blessings for life!  It was wonderful to dwell together with all those who joined us for Sukkot this year, old friends to get reacquainted with and new friends to welcome into our “family.”  The teachings on the books of Hebrews and Song of Solomon gave us new understanding, revelation, and passion for our Bridegroom.  The children’s activities were awesome in helping to develop a strong foundation in the next generation.  The music shared by so many was a beautiful offering of praise and worship to our Lord!  We were blessed with delicious pancakes to start each day and our “kosher kitchen” worked our great!  Even the “opportunities” that we dealt with helped to strengthen and mature us! Thank you to everyone who attended and sacrificed to make it a wonderful experience for everyone!

We hope you enjoy the genuine comments from Sukkot participants scattered throughout the pictures

“What I will remember about this Sukkot is all the teachings from the Song of Solomon to the teaching of Hebrews, to the temple teaching in Mrs. Barbara’s, ALL of them were based in unconditional love.  Having from the depth of our hearts drawing neigh to HIM with all we have. Not to hold back our love on the contrary, love HIM with all our being.”–D.D.

“SUKKOT was joyful with all the children.  The Ruach’s presence touches all of us and flows and brings a blessing because of ADONAI’s love.” — M. G.

“SUKKOT 2018 has been a time and place of refuge from the world.  Through its challenges it has been a great example of family & community.  We have enjoyed learning new things and going on adventures in our free time.  In spite of the dangers in the nature around us, it has been a place of safety to love, to be ourselves. Thank you to all who have contributed to make this time possible.”

“This Sukkot we have so many little seedlings growing up in Torah.  Roots growing deep and spreading their branches out.  Their leaves as plentiful as the Father’s promises.”

“SUKKOT 2018  – This Sukkot was one of the best yet.  There was such an atmosphere of true joy and peace in our camp.  May Hashem continue to shower down on us, kiss us and breathe upon us as we study His Word.  The Word was very rich and so many seeds were planted and watered daily.”

“”By this will all know that we’re His disciples that we have love for [our brothers and sisters & for Him, and He for us] each other.”  At Sukkot I saw an almost unbroken demonstration of His love in others for Him and each other.  Here, the focus of almost every encounter has been HIM!”
